LOVE POEM TO MY PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH

Peanut Butter Sandwich, O, thou sweetness between a bun,

Why dost thou cause me to have so much fun?

I love thee for breakfast ,for lunch , and even dinner

I eat thee in between breaktimes, thou truly a winner.

Though thy taste varies from New York to Budapest,

Thou art there late at night for me to gladly, gleefully, digest.

Thy nuts are as tasty as my true love's lips (that's you, God.)

Thou art an orgasmic, almost sexual, experience, minus the hips.

I wonder,

Why don't they serve thee for holy communion?

A bite of thou yummy filling for ecstatic union!!!!!

I consume thee for survival, relief and the thrills,

With or without the grape jam and all them frills,

And my raging appetite thou always fulfill,

With or without lemonade, thou still fit the bill,

Like a seven course meal I'd never dare lack

Thou yummy peanut butter sandwich bundled with the old six pack!

Sigh,

Tho' thy tendency is to make thee burp loud,

Thy tastiness, thy butter is worthy, for sharing in a crowd,

If I ever witness thou get thrown into some can,

My mouth is there to save you as much as save can,

And if I ever do succeed, in foiling that evil, nefarious plan,

I will bite thee off and scream "Oh, man,it's heaven again."

When thou art gone I feel isolated, cheated, but satisfied,

I love thee peanut butter so very much I get my unworthy tongue tied!

As some Chinese monk said when he bought one to sing -

"Make me one.....yes, one .......one with everything!"
